Charles J. "Rusty" Ricks Jr.'s Obituary
Charles J. “Rusty” Ricks, Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the age of 69.
Beloved husband of Judy Ricks. Son of the late Myrtle Kurtz Ricks and Charles J. Ricks, Sr. Brother-in-law of Donald C. and Lorraine Douglas, Daniel C. and Lynda Douglas, Jr. and the late Edwin A. Nunez, Jr. and Linda D. Nunez. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Mr. Ricks was a native of New Orleans where he graduated from Warren Easton High School and was a resident of Mandeville. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran serving with 147th Hillclimbers unit.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Laffite St., Mandeville, LA 70448 on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on Monday beginning at 10:30 AM.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Ricks to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
