Charles Andrew Hurston on Thursday, March 8, 2007.
Beloved husband of 51 years to Henrietta Keller Hurston. Father of Charles R. Hurston and his wife Teresa, Charlene Hurston and Vicki Hurston. Grandfather to Brooke Thompson, Kathryn Thompson, Cassie Hurston and Justin Hurston.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathryn Louise Ashurst Hurston, his father, James Thomas Hurston, Sr. and a brother, James T. Hurston, Jr.
Age 79 years. A native of Memphis, TN, he has been a resident of Covington, LA for the past 60 years. He was the owner and operator of Hurston’s Restaurant and Pine Manor Motel. He was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services on Saturday, March 10, 2007 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W.21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in the Peace Grove Cemetery.
