Charles "Doe" Donice Mooney's Obituary
Charles Donice “Doe” Mooney passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011.
Beloved husband of 46 years to Gwendolyn Faye Luc Mooney; loving father of Tracy Lynn Harris, Amy Elizabeth Hijazi (Ahmad Rami), and Charles Donice Mooney, Jr.; grandfather to Darrin, Seth, Alyssa, Yasmeen, Breanna, Alivia and Laith; brother of Avery Matthew Mooney, Wilda Juanita Taylor and Callie Ruth Keating. He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Mae Willie Mooney; his father, Huey Matthew Mooney; four brothers, Hollis Ray Mooney, Wilmer Roy Mooney, Huey Matthew Mooney, Jr. and his twin, Gaston Maurice “Moe” Mooney; and two sisters, Dorothy Lee Shockey and Helen Jeanette Raziano.
Age 63 years, he was a native and lifelong resident of Covington, LA.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at the Chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:00 PM.
Visitation on Friday will be from 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Willie-Lee Cemetery.
