Charles LeRoy Brown's Obituary
Charles LeRoy Brown passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2007.
He was 83. A Native of McComb, MS, he had been a resident of Covington, LA for the past year and was a former resident of Chalmette, LA.
He is the beloved husband of Lorraine Larsen Brown. He is survived by two sons, Charles Sidney Brown, Sr. and Curtis James Brown; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother Isola Hornsby Bass and his father William Brown; and two sisters, Louise B. Smith and Willie D. Bass.
Prior to retirement, he was a Natural Gas Pressure Contrllor for Entergy. He was a United States Navy Veteran having reached the rank of First Class Petty Officer and served during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was also a F&AM 32nd Degree Mason of the Osiris Lodge in Metairie.
A Private Memorial Service will be conducted. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
