Celeste Howze Kuehne's Obituary
Celeste Howze Kuehne passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 in Covington, LA. She was born on December 4, 1959 in New Orleans, LA to Leandra Elorriaga Howze and the late Jesse D. Howze.
Celeste was married to her beloved husband, Eugene L. Kuehne, Jr., for 33 years. She was the loving mother of Ashley Vaccarella (Sam), Shannon Walsdorf (Ian), Brooke Rhodes (Wesley, Jr.), Brittany Rauch (Ricky, Jr.), and step-son, Adam Kuehne (Kristy). Celeste was the proud grandmother of Paige and Hailey Vaccarella, Jax and Everett Walsdorf, Audrey and Zoey Rhodes, and Preston and Peyton Kuehne.
Celeste will be dearly missed, not only by her family and friends, but also by the many lives she touched through her dedicated work as an Early Childhood Special Education Coordinator with the STPSB.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at 10:30 AM. A Gathering will follow the Mass at First United Methodist Church, 203 N. Jefferson Ave, Covington, LA, 70433. Interment will be held privately in Isabel, LA.
