Catherine Rudesill Stevens' Obituary
Catherine Mary Rudesill Stevens age 76 of Folsom, entered eternal rest on Tuesday morning, November 2, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital surrounding by her loving daughters. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on May 8, 1945 to Milton Theodore Rudesill and Dorothy Adams Rudesill.
She was the loving mother to Patricia Stevens Booth (Robert), and Susan Stevens Woolley (David). She was the proud grandmother of Brad Woolley (Alaina), Corey Booth (Brittany), Cadie Dubea (Steven), and Andy Booth (Cailidh), and 9 great grand children Bryce, Brooke, James, Landyn, Caleb, Allie, John, Oliver, and Benjamin. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Catherine is preceded in death by her loving husband Berlin Stevens, her parents Milton and Dorothy Rudesill, siblings Lois Kitchen, Timothy Rudesill, and Larry Rudesill.
A native of New Orleans, longtime resident of Folsom, Catherine was a devoted member to Savannah Branch Church of God. Catherine was the proud owner of B + C Grocery Store of Folsom for over 30 years. She took great pride for over 12 years as a bus driver for St. Tammany Parish Public Schools.
Catherine was a loving, kind, and caring person. She enjoyed and cherished spending time with her loving family and friends. Catherine was unique, and a pillar of the community, and was well respected and liked. “GG” will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Savannah Branch Church of God, 11067 Highway 1078, Folsom, Louisiana 70437 on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM with visitation from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Willie Cemetery, Folsom, Louisiana.
