I just discovered that my aunt passed this year. She was my favorite relative - so full of joy and so much fun. I know Billy met her as she passed over and it was a joyous reunion for her. My deepest sympathies to my cousins Etta and Ronnie and their families. She was a very special lady.
Even though when I met her she was already deep into Alzheimer's, she was always so sweet and innocent when I was around. She just tugged on my heartstrings and made me love her. I will miss her at the Thanksgiving dinners. Amaze God the way you amazed me, Skelt.
I'll always remember her jubilant praise at the church homecoming singing! Her unrefrained and carefree way she expressed her joy in singing. A delightful memory. With her Savior now praising face to face! Glory!
I have great memories of the entire Hammill clan together at Joe and Florismae's 50th wedding anniversary. When the 4 of them got together, all sorts of fun happened. Dancing and cutting up.
I had the pleasure to work with Catherine at the law firm of Barranger, Barranger & Jones many years ago. She was such a caring person and we shared many good times together. My prayers are with you.
