I am so very sad to see the passing of Cathy. I worked with Cathy at the STPH Endoscopy Unit for many years. She was a friend and a mentor and our leader. Lots of things crossed her path in that unit, some good, some not so good. As little as she was, she was larger than life in that department. She held her ground and always did what was right for our patients. She had some big decisions to make everyday. Cathy was always fair. She respected each of us, and expected that we do our jobs in the same manner that she ran that department. No matter how busy we were, she always had the time to ask you, how your were doing? Can I help? How are your kids and family? I will cherish and remember her. She was my friend.
