Carolyn Ann Winbery's Obituary
Carolyn passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the age of 87
in LaCombe, Louisiana.
She was born to her parents, Carl Osborne and Mary Eunice Osborne, in El Dorado, Arkansas on January 31, 1933. Carolyn went to El Dorado High School, graduating in 1951. She lived and worked as an administrative assistant in San Diego, California, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Beaumont, Texas, Gretna, Louisiana and Mandeville, Louisiana. She, along with her husband, John Winbery were business owners of an electrical switchgear company and she was employed as a corporate secretary and office administrator in Harvey, Louisiana and Mandeville,
Louisiana. She was retired in 1995.
Carolyn and John traveled extensively nationally and internationally for business and for pleasure. She was also involved in numerous organizations such as the North Lake Petroleum Wives, the North Lake Garden Club of Mandeville and a Mardi Gras Crewe. Carolyn was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Mandeville.
Carolyn is survived by her son, David Wolfe and his wife, Christine Wolfe of Vidor, TX, her much loved grandson, Stephen Wolfe and his wife, Gina Wolfe and their daughters, Ashley, Abigail and Amelia of Kingwood, TX, her great grandsons, David Wolfe and Bruce Wolfe, both of Buda TX, her brother, Harold Osborne of Waco, TX, numerous nieces and nephews, and the son of her husband, John Calvin Winbery of Fairfax, Virginia.
Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, John Winbery, her much loved grandson, Aaron Wolfe of Vidor, Texas, her sisters Frances Reibe and Alene Vernon, her brothers, Gerald Osborne and Robert (Buster) Osborne, her former husband and father of her son, Robert G Wolfe of Vidor, Texas, and the daughter of her husband, Julie Winbery Guidry of Beaumont, Texas.
Carolyn will be dearly missed by all of her family and friends. Her humor and fun loving spirit were a blessing to them all. She will be interred with her husband, John Winbery, in Texas.
We will see her again through the grace of our Lord.
