Mom, there are no words to say, the hole I feel in my heart right now. I will miss you everyday! I’ve always been a momma’s girl, and we had many many wonderful and fun times together. Although we had our disagreements at times, in the end, we still had our love for each other. Love You Always, Lisa

Our last meal together--me, sis and Joe. So happy I was able to take her to eat what she wanted on her birthday this past Feb 5, before the virus hit hard. Joe met us there after his bible study at his church nearby.
For Mother's Day she was able to eat crawfish Kelly boiled which I sent with Kenny and Karen the evening before--heads and all. She had been begging for them for quite a while.
Happy happy happy I was able to accommodate both requests.
Our last face to face took place on Mother's Day, May 10, 2020, when I stood in the courtyard outside her Covid 19 nursing home room window. We could not hear each other well, so, trying to make her laugh, I made silly faces at her and she responded with silly faces back at me. She laughed, throwing her head back in her usual way.
Sisters have spats, but in the end Christian love conquers all. LOVE YOU SISTER. Wishing you PEACE.
Lisa, you know I loved your mom. She and I got along great. I tried to reach you by phone a few days ago, but had to leave a voice mail. I am so very sorry for you and your family, this is not what we wanted for our moms. My mom is at Forest Manor, too. I pray that Ms. Carolyn can rest in peace now. My deepest condolences to you and your family. You were a very good daughter to your mom, that doesn't go unnoticed. Love you, Dottie Bordelon Ret. Rouquette Lodge.
