Carolyn Laymon Hughes' Obituary
Carolyn Laymon Hughes passed away on Friday, October 18, 2013 at the age of 73.
Daughter of the late Helen Silvers Lynch and the late Carl Laymon.Loving mother of Michael, Scott, Robert and his wife Traci. Grandmother of Zachary, Jackson, Maximus, Owen and Emily Egermayer.
Carolyn had a long, distinguished career from the humble beginnings at Bank Americard to the General Manager of the St. Louis Hotel in New Orleans and Resident Manager for sixteen years at the Carlyle Hotel in New York City.
She will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Covington Presbyterian Church, 222 S. Jefferson Ave., Covington, LA 70433 at 10:00 AM with a reception to follow.
Flowers can be sent to Covington Presbyterian Church and contributions in memory of Carolyn Hughes can be made to The American Heart/Lung Association or a charity of choice.
