Carolyn Tyrney Gaines' Obituary
Carolyn Tyrney Gaines passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
She was born October 3, 1942 in Madisonville to the late George D. and Carolyn Anthony Tyrney and has been a resident of Slidell since 1969. The beloved wife of Newman F. Gaines, she is survived by two daughters, Sheri G. Sinopoli and Misti G. St. Pierre; two sons: B. Keith and D. Wayne Gaines; her sister, Cynthia T. Perrilloux; two brothers, Ronnie and Gerald Tyrney; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Gene, Glen and Danny Tyrney.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 11:00 Noon from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin Friday at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at The Douglas Cemetery.
