Carolyn Lanoux Dupuy's Obituary
Carolyn Lanoux Dupuy passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017. A native of Gonzales, LA, she was born on Tuesday, November 14, 1939 to Olita Le Blanc and Marshall Joseph Lanoux. Her youth was spent growing up in the Mid-City area of New Orleans and she attended The Sacred Heart of Jesus, a K-12 School on Canal St. Having married, she soon became the mother of two boys. In addition to her young family, she also dedicated her time and efforts to the parish of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church during the years spent living in Metairie, LA. After moving to Covington, LA in 2005, she joined her new neighbors and friends for Sunday church and weekly small group meetings at First Baptist Church of Covington. She soon became active in the Senior Choir lead by David Rockett, whom she adored as a minister of strength and hope for her after the loss of her husband.
The beloved wife of the late Wayne Andrew Dupuy, she is survived by two sons - Darren A. Dupuy and David M. Dupuy. Her parents also preceded her in death.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Wednesday will begin at 1:00 PM.
Following her funeral mass, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington, LA.
