Carol Lee Cusachs' Obituary
Carol Lee Evans Cusachs. Beloved wife, step mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, passed from this world on September 2, 2011 at the age of 66 after a long battle with cancer.
She was married to Louis Chopin "Choppy" Cusachs for 31 years. A native of Houston, Texas, she graduated from Stephen F. Austin College and later earned a masters degree in counseling psychology from the University of Houston. She practiced as a child and as a marriage and family counselor in Houston, Baton Rouge, and in Folsom.
A gentle and spiritual person, she is mourned by many, including her loving husband, Choppy Cusachs, her step-children and their families, Charlotte Cusachs Bujoreanu (Maricel), George and Sophie Bujoreanu, Preston (Melanie) Cusachs, Kendall Cusachs Andrews (Rob), Emily, Avary, and Grant Andrews, her parents, Robert Lee Evans, Jr. and Mary Ella Evans of Houston, Tx, her sister, Marilynn Evans Schafer (John) and niece, Katie Schafer, to whom she was also godmother, her spiritual daughter Margaret Cranwell as well as many other friends.
A service will be held at St. Athanasius Anglican Church 11516 Tantela Ranch Road, Folsom, LA 70437 on Saturday, September 17 at 10:30 a.m.
