I have been thinking about y’all every day since I heard about Mr. Carlos. I will miss his humor, warmth, & command of language & literature. His passion for life and pride in his family was always evident. Thank you sharing him with me.
Mr. Carlos, I know where you are now. If the Army and the Navy ever gaze on Heaven’s scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.

Peggy, my deepest condolences on the passing of Carlos. I am terribly disappointed that I was not able to attend his services as I was out of town when Olivia called with the news of his passing. I was totally shocked since seeing Carlos just last week in Walmart and how good he looked after his surgery and shopping for things for your home. I will keep you and your in my prayers.
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Carlos. We knew him and Peggy for many years while living in New Orleans East - Sarah Brocato Fazzio.
I first met Carlos in the late 1970's as I was also a landman from a small independent oil company. We made an agreement to drill a well on a Texaco lease that we were successful,Texaco did not expect.
Following that we became friends and enjoyed each others company. We had long lunches at the Bon Ton and we went to at least one Saints game over many years.
Our wives got to know each other and in later years after Carlos retired, we had a couple of lunches together every year.
There was another area where we enjoyed each others company and that was golf. For many years I ran a Golf Tournament for the Norwegian Seamen's Church and Carlos played with us every year. We also played at other events and also at his golf course.
Now, with Carlos gone, these get togethers will be no more and we will miss Peggy hosting us at their home.
Carlos was one of my best friends and I will miss him dearly.

We are so terribly saddened to learn of Carlos’s passing. He was such a beloved friend of ours. Gene greatly enjoyed every moment he spent with him at all the ROB gatherings.
