My fondest memories of Carl are when we talked. Did not matter what it was about nor what the subject matter was. He was one of the most intelligent men I have known and could converse on any subject intelligently. If he did not know something the first time you talked about something you could bet he would the next time. He and I had more than one good laugh together over the years as he could always make me smile and laugh no matter how down I may have been. Most of all I admired the way he loved my sister. He treated her like she was the most special woman in the world and as far as he was concerned she was. Thank you Carl for loving my sister as you did in life and I know you will in the next life as well. You will reunite, be together forever, and always be Carl and Barbara McGuire.
My deepest condolences to the entire family. This includes Donna, Mike, and Chris as well as all his extended family and many friends he had in life.
