Jennifer, my deepest condolences for your loss. You are in my prayers,
Robin Walsdorf Onstead
I just learned of Carey’s passing today. I am sending my condolences and love to Jennifer and Cord and Cam. I have so many great memories of Carey from golf games to McDermott picnics but I will always remember and cherish the years we spent carpooling and the many stories that Carey would share about his work and of course his family. I always enjoyed Carey’s and Jennifer’s Christmas parties and getting to know their extended families. I will pray for the family and for the peace to know that Carey was loved and be remembered and is in a better place with his Lord and with Katie.
Jennifer, Cord, Cam, your wives and the grandchildren,
On behalf of the Forinash family, I want to give our love and fond memories. Your family was so important to us and especially to Derek. Many happy times at your home and the McWilliam’s home on the coast. Your kindness when Jim passed away in 1995 is forever in our hearts.
I used to see Carey often at social events that my wife, Elizabeth, and I went to while she was the society editor for the Northshore edition of the Times-Picayune newspaper. I always liked to sit near him because he was so fun and interesting to talk to. And I had taken some carpentry repair work to his carpentry shop in downtown Covington. Richard Moore
Jennifer, we loved our time together and will always remember it with you guys in San Miguel De Allende.
Carey is a special man, I always looked forward to our Golf outings, his joy of life and adventure, made this a better world. We will miss him dearly.

To Jennifer and all the family...
Though I didn’t know Carey that well, the summary of his life and loves gave a picture of a wonderful man. I know you will miss him.
