Capt. Charles H. Hough's Obituary
Captain Charles H. Hough passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006.
Beloved husband of the late Rosemary “Penny” Willingham Hough. Father of Pati Bader and the late Betty Hough. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Margo and Bill Bader, nieces, nephews and many, many friends. Age 83 and a resident of Madisonville for the past 33 years.
A native of Tulsa, OK, Captain Hough joined and achieved the rank of Officer in the U.S. Merchant Marines before going to work with Standard Oil Co. He eventually retired as Steamship Captain with the New Orleans-Baton Rouge Steamship Pilot Association. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Stirling in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited attend Funeral Services on Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visiting hours will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Covington.
