Calvin Reuben Sharp's Obituary
Calvin Reuben Sharp passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in Covington, LA. He was born on Tuesday, December 29, 1931 in Bush, LA to the late Calvin Theodore Sharp and Florence Taylor Sharp.
Calvin is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalie McLain Dickerson-Sharp. He was the loving father of Leann Sharp Threadgill, Timothy Steven Sharp, and Donna Gayle Sharp. Calvin was the step-father of Dianne M. Davis, Thomas W. O’Keefe, Kenneth R. O’Keefe, Keith R. O’Keefe, Richard A. O’Keefe, Felicia Briley Dutruch, the late Terry J. O’Keefe, and Dennis A. O’Keefe. He was the proud grandfather of numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Calvin was the brother of the late Zellie Fussell, Dezzie O’Keefe, Janella Revere, and Icey Sharp. Calvin was also preceded in death by his grandson, Timothy Steven Sharp, II.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at Sharp’s Chapel Church of God, 22191 Sharp Chapel Rd, Bush, LA 70431 on Monday, June 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM. A WAKE will be held at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 5:00 until 9:00 PM. VISITATION on Monday is AT THE CHURCH from 9:00 AM until service time.
