Thank you for whatever interventions you helped create this last year. I know you have been hearing me and I know how much you love me and my children and Dad. Everything is so much better. I'm much happier as those I truly love and care about are happier as well. I know this makes you happier too. We had a great time for the holidays, and you as always were very missed. I made your eggplant dressing and coffee punch, and for a second, it felt like you were there. Love you, Mom. Thanks for still being there for me.

Five years ago today, you were in the hospital after having surgery the night before, and my mind was going a million miles a minute trying to figure out what we were going to do to try and save you. You and I were in Disney World just 7 days earlier, and now you were in a hospital bed. I wish I could bring you back. I love you Mom.
