Brett Anthony Lowe's Obituary
Brett Anthony Lowe, 51, of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on July 2, 2014 while on vacation with his family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to John James and Anna Rita Lowe on January 6, 1963. The family moved from Metairie to Covington where he graduated from Covington High School in 1981. After high school he earned a degree of Master Craftsman from the Louisiana Technical College in Natchitoches, Louisiana. In 1994 he and his brother, Brian, opened Lowe's Jewelers in Mandeville. Brett was a long time member and Captain of Mandeville's Original Krewe of Orpheus Mardi Gras Organization. He was preceded in death by his Father John James Lowe. He is survived by his loving wife Virginia "Ginger" Wilson Lowe and his beautiful daughters April and Amber, his Mother Anna Rita Lanassa Lowe and siblings David (Jocelyn), Terry (Maria), Diane Pattison, Ricky (Dory), Judy Gauthier (Mitch) and Brian (Paula), Mother in Law Jenny Moss Buchtel, Father in Law James (Jim) Buchtel, Brothers in Law Joe Wilson (Suzanne), Paul Wilson (Linda), Mike Wilson (Jeanne), Jason Buchtel (Adrian), Sister in Law Lisa Gehring (Kyle) and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the educational fund for his daughters, Home Bank, 82255 Highway 25 Folsom, La 70437, Attention Trena Vitale. A memorial service will be held at St Benedicts Catholic Church 20370 Smith Rd Covington Saturday July 19th, 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
