Brenda Lynn McDonald Williams' Obituary
Brenda Lynn McDonald Williams, 67, passed away on January 19, 2024, at her home in Waldheim, LA surrounded by her loving family. She was the oldest child of the late Stanley McDonald and Muriel Ouder McDonald, born on May 1, 1956, in New Orleans, LA. The beloved wife of 43 years to Bruce R. Williams. She was the sister of Stanley McDonald Jr. and Elaine Boudreaux, loving mother of Megan Bergeron (Christopher), Meredith Mautemps (Quinn), and Benjamin Williams (Crystal) and proud grandmother of Bailey Cox, Sayler Williams, Archer Bergeron, and Elijah Mautemps.
Brenda grew up in New Orleans, attended grade school at Carrollton Presbyterian, and after graduating she attended Louisiana State University where she met her husband, Bruce R. Williams. She became a computer analyst and worked in New Orleans her entire career.
Brenda was funny, witty, and loved to tell a good story. She loved spending time with her family, was incredibly proud of her children and grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by all those who loved her.
