Brenda Gottschalk Stewart's Obituary
Brenda Scarlett Stewart, age 69, of Goodbee, LA died on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson, LA.
Born October 18, 1949 to Curtis Allen Gottschalk and Laura Tisdale Gottschalk.
Brenda was the wife of the late J.T. Stewart. Loving mother of Kristopher Stewart of Goodbee and Kolleen. She was the grandmother of Amelia and Scarlett Stewart. She is preceded in death by her brother Robert Neil Gottschalk.
Brenda was a graduate of Covington High School. She attended Southeastern LA University where she received her Bachelor of Arts and Masters Degree in Education. She was an elementary school teacher in Covington and retired from the St. Tammany Parish School Board.
Brenda was a dedicated and lifelong member of Live Oak Missionary Baptist Church on Turnpike Road north of Goodbee.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service @ EJF at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 12:00 PM to service time.
Interment in Bennett Cemetery Folsom, LA.
