Bradley Culver Banks, MD, FACC, passed away on Saturday, December. 29, 2007.
Beloved husband of 21 years of Robin Baber Banks; loving father to Sarah Ashley Banks, Emily Katherine Banks and Harrison Culver Banks; son of Carol Wisniewsky Banks and Paul Banks; brother of Lisa Banks; and son-in-law of Patricia Stanley Baber. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Winston C. Baber.
Age 46 years, he was a native of St. Louis, MO and a resident of Covington, LA for the past 11 years. Bradley was a graduate of Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, he obtained a BA in Mathematics and a Doctor of Medicine from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. He did his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, a Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases and a Fellowship in Interventional Cardiac and Vascular Diseases at Ochsner Medical Institutions in New Orleans. He was a partner in the Cardiologist practice at Louisiana Heart Center in Covington. He was a member of Tchefuncta Country Club and the Krewe of Olympia Carnival Club.
Relatives and friends of the family and the staff of Louisiana Heart Center are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 4, 2008 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, January 5, 2008 from 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
