Dr. Bobby L. Stalcup of Mandeville, LA died on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born on August 14, 1938, in Tahoka, TX, one of six children of farmers J. H. (Hub) and Lois Lee (Jaynes) Stalcup. A graduate of O Read Obituary
Bobby was an excellent mentor to me when I worked with him as his associate minister at Parkway Church in Metairie. I’m grateful for his good influence on my ministry. He performed our wedding during a Sunday morning worship service and that happy marriage lasted until my husband’s death in 2019. Sending love and sympathy to Thelma and his family. Dr. Stalcup married us on May 12, 1979 at Parkway. Eighteen months later he baptized our son Nathaniel. Special times. We are blessed to have such wonderful memories with him. Prayers to his family and friends. 🙏🏻 Travis & Peggy Parr.

My best memory of Bob at Parkway was on July 14, 1984, when he married Bob Jolley and I. It was the best day and much of that was due to Bob Stalcup performing our marriage. My love and prayers go out to Thelma and the family. I will never forget!!!
