Blanche Schlenker's Obituary
Blanche Marange Schlenker passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 at her home in Covington, LA. She born in Mandeville, LA to Ludovic and Gussie Quave Marange. Blanche leaves behind her two loving daughters, Melissa Schlenker and Yvette S. Galpin (Jeffery). She will be dearly missed by her four grandchildren, Darren Jenkins, Tyler Galpin, Alyssa Galpin, and Dylan Galpin, and her great granddaughter, Evelyn Rose. Blanche was the sister of the late Ophelia A Marange and Veronica M. Martinez. A mother figure to many, she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Blanche was a loving mother and dedicated herself to raising her family. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved and cared deeply for her family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, March 28, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 1:00 PM until service time.
