Blaine Sharp's Obituary
Blaine Sharp, age 50, went to Heaven on April 20, 2017. He was born in Folsom, Louisiana, but lived mostly in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He was born to Ivon Sharp and Lorraine Crockett Freed on October 11, 1966. He received his Master’s Degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University to pursue his career as a Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Occupational Health. He was known for his exceptional care as a medical care provider, but also for his natural gift and desire to help and guide people on a spiritual and personal level.
Blaine is survived by his wife, Trisha Zeringue Sharp, his children, Ashley Sharp, Jake Zeringue, Sydney Sharp, and one grandchild, Lia Sharp. He is also survived by his father, Ivon (Beulah) Sharp, mother, Lorraine Crockett Freed, and his siblings, Clay Sharp, Patrick (Tessie) Sharp, and Allison (Mikey) Boudreaux. Blaine was proceeded in death by his brothers Michael Sharp and Ivon Sharp Jr.
Blaine’s greatest gift was his ability to deeply cherish and care for his loved ones. Of the qualities he possessed, the most captivating were his compassion and perseverance. He touched and changed the lives of many while he was alive, but the memories of Blaine will never cease.
A celebration of Blaine’s life will be held Friday, April 28, 2017 at Savannah Branch Church of God in Folsom, Louisiana. Visitation for family and friends will be from 10:00am until funeral time at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Willie Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana.
