Blaine Matthew Morel's Obituary
Blaine Matthew Morel of Abita Springs, LA went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, July 19, 2018. He was born on April 17, 1987 in Metairie, LA to Brian Morel and Oralia “Lali” Villarreal Morel.
Blaine is survived by his parents Brian and Lali; his paternal grandmother Dorothy Gail D’arcourt; and his maternal grandparents Oscar Villarreal and Bertha Ochoa Villarreal. He is also survived by his uncles, aunts, and cousins Rudy Morel (Bonnie), Brenda Morel Vinti (Lee), Gary Morel, Sr. (Vickie), Cary Morel, Sr. (Christina), Kelly Morel (Cindy), Theresa Giambrone (Tony), Norma Robertson (Tommy), Rosa Milano (Steve), Maria Amoe, Maricela Villarreal, Jimmy Chappelear, Patrick Amoe, Shane Morel, Stacy Vinti, Kelley Vinti, Michael Vinti (Emily), Matthew Vinti, Gary Morel, Jr., Meagan Marshall (Jesse), Christopher Morel (Tara), Amanda Morel Zeller (George), Jamie McCall, Kelly Morel, Jr., Kylie Morel, Michelle Morel, Tony Giambrone, Trent Giambrone, Marcia Stephens (Lenny), Taylor Robertson, Raymond Gonzales, Jennifer Chappelear, Danielle Chappelear, Dominic Amoe, Francesca Amoe; as well as a large extended family and numerous friends that will all miss him dearly.
Blaine is preceded in death by his grandfathers Rudolph “Rudy” Morel, Sr. and Ferdie D’arcourt, his cousin Cary Morel, Jr., and Uncle Andrew T. Young.
Blaine was a lifetime resident of Abita Springs, LA and graduated from Fountainbleu High School. He was a proud Bulldog and could always be found supporting every team. Blaine was an avid sports fan and loved his LSU Tigers and New Orleans Saints. He had a contagious laugh, always had a smile on his face, and displayed unconditional love for everyone he met.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Jane de Chantal Catholic Church, 72040 Maple St, Abita Springs, LA 70420 on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday at church beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow the service in Abita Springs Cemetery, Abita Springs, LA.
