Billy Webb Mason's Obituary
Billy Webb Mason passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at the age of 73. He was born in McComb, MS on July 31, 1949 to Webb V. and Mattie Mae Thompson Mason.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Nancy Ann Miller Mason and his step-daughters, Julie Pegg (Kurt) and Jayne Sanchez. Bill was preceded in death by his parents.
Bill graduated from Florida State University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology. Bill and Nancy married on July 6, 1993. He had a career in federal law enforcement for 30 years with the U. S. Postal Inspection Service having served at several domiciles in parts of the east coast and the south. He loved being a Postal Inspector and was proud that his last case was featured on America’s Most Wanted. If you came to our house Bill would get out the video for you to watch. He had a passion for hunting, target shooting, collecting WW2 memorabilia and Florida State University football.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 2:00 PM with visitation beginning at 12:00 PM until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
