Billy Charles Geiger's Obituary
Billy Charles Geiger of Mandeville, LA passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at his home surrounded by family. Billy was 78 years old.
Billy was born in Bassfield, MS to the late James Elbert Geiger and Mamie Speights Geiger in 1946. Billy relocated to Baton Rouge, LA in 1965. He married the late Helen Ruth Sinclair on October 28, 1965 and was married for 53 wonderful years. Billy was preceded in death by his son, Gary Geiger, his siblings, Bobby Geiger and Doris Bozeman, and his grandsons Lincoln and Bennett Geiger.
Billy is survived by his son, Brent Geiger (Ginger) of Mandeville, LA; his grandchildren Corey Geiger (Gabrielle), Lindsey Geiger Waguespack (Aubert), Alicia Geiger (Dylan Payne), Monica Geiger, Maxwell Geiger; his great grandchildren Aubrey, Bliss, and Cruz Waguespack, Gavin and Nolan Geiger and Everly and Kai Payne; and his brother, James Marlon Geiger.
Billy was a devoted husband and family man. Billy served in the Mississippi National Guard and spent his career as a project manager for Percy J Matherne Construction. Billy was awarded Superintendent of the Year in 1991.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 at E J Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue, Covington, LA. The visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, adjacent to the funeral home.
