Hope you are doing well, once again my sincere sympathy. No one was more surprised then myself upon reading about Bill's death.
Was very much surprised to see this online in Times-Picayune. Am so sorry, we had our differences but did not think he would pass away at such a young age. I hope you are doing well. Take Care

Susan, My deepest sympathies are with you and your family at this time. I was out of town for the services, and sorry I could not attend. Please let Matt know I was thinking about him as well.
Mr Billy was a great man. He always did his best and loved to help people. We only knew him at FD12 for a short while, but his friendship and memory of his smiles will last a lifetime.
Susan, You and your family are in our prayers. We will all miss Billy. We will always remember him as a happy individual ready to help when he could. As the priest said, we never know when our time comes and Billy's death really proves that. I hope he didn't suffer very long.
I worked at a P&G helpdesk in 1998 when I first worked with Billy. Several co-workers and I always enjoyed helping Billy. He always was cheerful and had a great, fresh perspective on life and his job. I'm sure he's already missed by family, friends and community.
Susan, I am so sorry for your loss. I just can't believe Billy is gone. I didn't work with him long but after going through Katrina with the group, I felt very close to them all. I'm thankful I was able to visit and meet him in person. I know that you were his world and that keeping you safe and happy was what mattered to him. I will keep you in my prayers.

Though I haven't seen Billy Ray in many years, upon learning of his death, I would recall the fun times we had growing up on Perrin Drive in Arabi. Billy was older than I was so I always looked up to him as a big brother. He will be sadly missed. Dianne & David
