Billy Truitt Bankston, on Monday, March 3, 2008.
Beloved husband of the late Bernice Bankston. Loving companion of the late Kathleen Willis. Father of Perry Bankston and spouse Brenna of Picayune, MS. Brother of Hollis Bankston of Roseland, LA, Doris Sweat of Hammond, LA, Brenda Bankston of Kentwood, LA and the late Harold, Johnny, Curtis, Sidney Bankston and Ester Ruth Pettitt. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was a longtime volunteer at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Aged 75 years, a native of Kentwood, LA and a resident of Covington for the past 30 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Shepherd’s Care Ministries, 20115 Highway 1081, Covington, LA 70435.
Visitation on Wednesday, AT THE CHURCH, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Shepherd’s Fold Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Billy’s name to Shepherd’s Care Ministries. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 entrusted with the arrangements.
