Beverly J. Porte's Obituary
Beverly J. Porte passed away on Monday, November 10, 2008. She was born May 7, 1918 to the late Ronald and Viola Stubbs Junker and has been a resident of Mandeville since 1978. The beloved wife of the late Albert L. Porte, she is survived by one son, Ronald L. Porte; her daughter-in-law, Anna Levy Porte; two grandsons, Randall L. and Christopher D. Porte and four great-grandchildren.
Beverly’s involvement with many senior civic organizations from Mandeville to Baton Rouge kept her very active well into her eighties.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 12:00 Noon from the chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours will begin at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow services at the Mandeville Cemetery.
