Beverly Ann Courtney Bridges' Obituary
Beverly Ann Courtney Bridges passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, in Madisonville, Louisiana. She was born on May 23, 1941 in West Monroe, Louisiana to the late Vada Lee Courtney and Elton Guy Courtney, Sr.
Beverly was the loving and devoted wife of the late William Michael “Mike” Bridges, Jr. and the loving mother to Tanya Michele Bridges (Clay), William Michael Bridges, III (Tracey), Wanda Bridges Capdeville (Eric) and Kenneth Wayne Bridges (Brittney). She was a loving grandmother to Victoria Capdeville Hartzog (Kemp), William Michael Bridges, IV (Ally), Megan Elizabeth Bridges Duronslet (Lance) Joshua Reid Bridges, Gavin Wayne Bridges, Clayton Randall Bennett and Houston Michael Wilson. She was the loving great grandmother to Levi Kemp Hartzog, Wyatt Eric Hartzog and Silas Dean Duronslet.
She was preceded in death by her brother Elton Guy Courtney, Jr. She is survived by her brother Johnny B. Courtney.
She was a proud member of the Order of Eastern Star and held a membership at Metairie Ridge Chapter, #169.
A private Interment was held in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 West 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana.
