Betty Sprouse Saltalmachia's Obituary
Betty Sprouse Saltalmachia passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Sam John Saltalmachia. Loving mother of Clarence Saltalmachia, Nora Lane, Mary Melerine (Anthony), Cynthia DeLorenzo (Salvadore), Samuel Saltalmachia (Mary Katheryn), Rose Melerine (Wayne), Carl Saltalmachia and Robert Saltalmachia.
Daughter of the late Mary Evelyn Wooten Sprouse and Clarence Sprouse.
Sister of Evelyn Sprouse, Joel Stokes and the late Carl Sprouse. Also survived by 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Betty was a native Atlanta, GA and a resident of Covington for over 50 years. She enjoyed gardening and family gatherings. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Abita Springs Cemetery.
