Betty Gaitan Reine's Obituary
Betty Gaitan Reine passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in Covington, LA. A native of Beeville, TX, she was born on Saturday, August 11, 1962 to Mable Loya and Felix Gaitan. She was formerly a resident of River Ridge, LA before moving to Covington in 1986. She was a founding member of Legacy Church and for the past 10 years has been dedicated to the worship team. In addition to helping with the Church’s multi-media operation, she was a singer and played the bass guitar.
The beloved wife of Shane P. Reine, she is survived by two daughters - Jessica Reine Pierre and Erica Lee Reine; her son in law Blake Pierre; her mother - Mable Loya; one sister - Tina Gaitan; and two brothers - Felix, Jr. and Gabriel Gaitan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend memorial services at 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Thursday will begin at 5:00 PM.
