Betty Jean Burman Jacobi's Obituary
Betty Jean Burman Jacobi passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 surrounded by family at her home in Slidell, LA. She was born on October 22, 1932 in Houston, TX to the late John Burman and Hilda May Elfer Burman.
Betty was married to her beloved husband, Alan Jacobi, for 60 years. She was the loving mother of Kevin T. Jacobi, Elizabeth A. Jacobi, and James A. Jacobi. Betty was the proud grandmother of Michael Jacobi (Juliette), Jenee Jacobi, Brandy Worley (Joseph), Meagan Jacobi, David Feeney, Thomas Jacobi, and Katherine Jacobi; great-grandmother of Makenna Worley. She was the sister of Jack Burman. Thanks to Ruthie, Mary, Rhonda, and Pam, her caregivers, for the loving and compassionate care they gave Betty right until the end.
Betty will be remembered for her sense of humor and always having a new joke to tell.
She was a positive person and an eternal optimist. She will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at Saint Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 1050 Robert Blvd., Slidell, LA 70458 on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 12:00 Noon with visitation from 10:00 AM until Mass time.
