Betty Elise Hargett's Obituary
Betty Elise Hargett passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the age of 88.
Beloved wife of the late Capt. Lloyd “Pete” Hargett.
Loving mother of Ronald L. Hargett and Lynn Hargett Murden and her devoted son-in-law, Jim. Daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Lumpkin. Sister of the late Rev. James G. Lumpkin. Grandmother of Tracy L. Alexander and Elise A. Hargett and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM followed by a 12:30 PM graveside service in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of Mrs. Hargett to be made to the St. Tammany Humane Society.
