Mom, it's been so hard since you left us. We are having a small memorial at the house on Saturday for your friends in Texas to celebrate your life. I flew to CA on your birthday and felt so close to you while flying high in the sky. I could feel your arms around me as I sat in the plane. The house (and my heart) has been so empty without you. You are in my thoughts every minute of every day. I miss you sooooooo much. I love you always.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting your mom, but I'm sure if she was half as caring and loving to her friends and family as you are, then the world has truly suffered a great lost.
