Betty Diane Guillory Brewster passed away peacefully into the arms of our Heavenly Father, on September 8th, 2015. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Terrell Wayne Brewster, and her parents, E. Jack Guillory and Eugenia S Read Obituary
Diane was my safety net. I never told her that. Her hugs and smiles always made everything better. They may have only been an exchange on the way to the mailbox or during the coming and going of our lives but I am grateful that God allowed me to have her in my life. She will be greatly missed.
Loved and definitely will be missed by all of your "children". Your smile lit up a room and your hugs warmed many a heart . My thoughts and prayers are with Jack and the boys.
Great lady, great family, great sons ! The Brewster compound was the place to be growing up in 1970’s Covington. Diane and Terrell were surrogate parents to many kids who visited their house. So sorry to hear of your loss …

There are too many memories I have of Mrs Brewster to share. What I remember most is that she was funny, caring and wise. She lived life to the fullest. She often referred to me as her son when people would ask who I was, and it's true..she was a second mother to me. She was a major influence on my formative years and yes...she was an awesome cook!
I'll always remember Diane in her kitchen, so beautiful with a great sense of humor, inviting me to stay for dinner, spend the night...taking care of a bad cut on my leg... I felt so at home there.
