When Bob invited me to join his practice, I jumped into that opportunity during Christmas 1991. He and Bettina drove me around in his Rolls Royce. When i noticed a funky odor I asked them what it was. Bob said, "That’s the smell of money." {International Paper Co.} I certainly felt welcomed to Natchez by the entire Barnes family. But Bettina's grace and hospitality stood out. Especially seated in the dining room on Washington Street. After Bob retired from practice, Alice worked as the practice manager as Daniel spent his first 18 months crawling around the office. I want to express my gratitude to both Bob and Bettina for their unending generosity and hospitality. My wife and I wish to extend to the entire Barnes family our sincerest condolences at the loss of a true matriarch. With love and respect, Tom Weed & Holly Sarre.
