Bettie Jerylene "Jery" Tarver's Obituary
Bettie Jerylene “Jery” Stafford Tarver passed away on Wednesday, August 16,2017 surrounded by family at her home in Folsom, LA. She was born on January 8, 1931 in Franklinton, LA to the late Loyd Willis Stafford and Beverly “Bevie” Leona McLain Stafford.
Jery was the loving mother of Sarah J. Tarver, Julie T. Tharp (Hunt), and Samuel “Sam” A. Tarver, III (Charlotte). She was the proud grandmother of Stuart Williams (Maureen), Shelby Williams, Katie Tharp (Glen Hebert), Samantha Tarver, and Lily Miller; great-grandmother of Gabriel Williams, Isabel “Izzy” Williams, and Olivia Williams. Jery was the sister of the late Elroy Stafford, and Janice Carolyn Frugé (Jerry, Sr.). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at First Baptist Church of Folsom, 13320 Broadway St, Folsom, LA 70437 on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 12:00 Noon with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at First Baptist Church of Folsom, Folsom LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart of Hospice, (844) 464-0411.
