My heart goes out to you Lou, and your family. I'm sorry you are having to endure this sad news and heart breaking loss.
He will remain a clear inspiration to me in that after the car wreck and coma he remained happy and always had a smile on his face when I ran into him. I'm sure he had struggles unlike any I can imagine, but my own experience was always inspiring. His love of God and joyful devotion were also inspirational and reminded me of the choices we have to be happy in the moment and loving always.
I am so grateful to have known him and your family through you. I'll continue to keep you all in my prayers. Bert is perfect now, and I can imagine the beaming smile he has on his face now as he meets his maker. God's speed in your healing.
