Bertha Lee Rainey's Obituary
Bertha Lee Rainey, age 84, of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was born October 9, 1935 to Mary Lewis Lee and Theodore Lee.
On June 25, 1955, she married Dudley Rainey and together for 50 years they enjoyed gardening and raising cattle. Their passion for hard work never ceased. Even after the passing of her husband, she could always be found busy outside and was admired by her family for her tireless effort.
Bertha is survived by her daughters, Karen Rainey and Sharon King; her son-in-law, Marcus King; her grandchildren, Brandon Marcus King and DaKota Lynn King; sister, Shirley Dietz (Raymond); and brother, Grady Lee (Deborah). Also survived by many loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Bertha is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dudley Rainey; parents, Mary and Theodore Lee; sister, Barbara Sunseri; and brothers, Leslie, Henry, Dwight and Joseph Lee.
A private family burial will be held at Rainey Cemetery.
