I met Bertha years ago at First Baptist Church Covington. She was always a loving, sweet, and caring lady...and lady she was indeed! Heaven's gain is our earthly loss.

Mom and I are sending prayers of comfort for you during this time of deep sorrow. Bertha was such a sweet, kind, loving and special Christian Lady. We will never forget the kindness she showed mom after moving here from Baton Rouge. Introducing her to FBC, the choir, Young At Heart, lunches, trips, etc. really helped Mom make the transition a happy one. Bertha was more than a cousin to mom. She considered her a best friend. She was greatly loved and will be sorely missed.

Aunt Bertha was dearly special to me & my family. So full of awesome memories. I know Maw Tete is happy that her best friend is with her now, where they can continue their life together in Heaven. I loved her so much & she will always be in my thoughts and in my heart. Love you guys.
Aunt Bertha, was a wonderful,loving person who had a caring influence on my life. As a child she took time to do sweet things for me. In later years we traveled in many states including New England and had fun times. She and my grandmother(her mother) had the greatest impact on guiding me to be the person that I am today.
