Beloved husband of Bertha Jenkins Sharp for 61 years. Father of Douglas Sharp (Becky), Latimore Sharp (Summer) and Horace Sharp (Saundra). Son of the late Alma Taylor and Ira Bolivar Sharp. Brother of Danal, Orece, Rufus, Nola (Sis), Rose, Alma, Jimmy and the late Horatio, Elliot, Clifton, Viola, Mattadoris, Ottis and Eletha. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Aged 79 years. A native and lifelong resident of Bush, LA. He had worked for Pre-stressed Concrete of Mandeville and Equitable Shipyards of Madisonville. Member of Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM from E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Tuesday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Sharp Cemetery.
