Our deepest sympathies to Ben's family, especially to Ann who brought him such happiness in his latter years. He was our friend who helped us start our business in many ways, and always with a smile and encouragement. It was always a pleasure to pick up the phone and hear him on the other end. Good sailing Ben.
Deeply saddened by the news of Ben’s passing. My heartfelt condolences. I’ll truly miss him

Very sorry to hear the sad news.
Ben was a great guy, a kind and polite person, a real friend. He will be missed by everyone who knew him but especially by his family and friends. RIP Dear Ben.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Ann.

Ben was a mentor, a boss, a friend and at times even a surrogate father to me over the course the 10 years we worked together. To say he taught me a lot is an understatement. I managed to get 30 years experience in the 10 years I was with Ben. There is too much to say about Ben that I simply cannot articulate. Those of us that knew him were blessed to have crossed his path. His physical presence in this world will be missed but the spirit of Ben Haveman and the wisdom he passed along will continue on in all who called him a friend.
I will always remember Ben fondly. He’d take Hans and me out on the Pontchartrain for weekend excursions. He, and Hans, introduced me to all things maritime, and the beauty of it. He was always happy on the water. God Bless You Ben!
My sincere condolences to the Haveman family. Hans is a great friend of mine who has shared many great memories of his father with me. RIP Mr. Ben
