Beloved husband of Tommie H. Wright by his second marriage and the late Catherine Bradshaw Wright by his first. Father of Cathy Jenks and John Wright. Step-father of Jean A. Young, Charles Ray Lyles, Vicki L. Malone and Mark Lyles. Grandfather of Elizabeth and Lane Jenks. Brother of John H. Wright and Carroll Wright. Son of the late John H. and Mamie Polk Wright. Also survived by 9 step-grandchildren and 9 step-great-grandchildren.
Aged 81 years. A native of Hattiesburg, MS and a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 18 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial services on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM from First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Hwy 1085, Covington, LA 70433. Visitation on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment in Highland Cemetery, Hattiesburg, MS on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the American Diabetes Association or to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
