I am sorry to hear of Ben's passing. He was so kind when Corrine and I came to visit. I know he had more important things to do than to show me around but you wouldn't know it by his hospitality. His kindness and generosity will be missed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I have such fond memories of Benjy from Holy Name through Tulane. At Holy Name, he was notorious for trying to "cross the lobby" into the girl's side! The Nuns could give a boy quite a "beating" if they caught one.(rulers on the hand) He definitely was "kind", but also fun and witty. I remember the old car he had, always in front of the KA house, and ALWAYS needing a push! Everyone was happy to oblige, as cars at college were somewhat scarce in those days, and we all knew when it got started he would be happy to drive us anywhere...and he did. He was indeed "tenderhearted", as he agreed to escort me when I was a maid in Les Pierrettes, when the KA I went with at the time was going out of town that evening. He took pity on this girl, and needless to say we had a wonderful time! My prayers are with you all at this sad time...I will always remember Benjy with a great big SMILE!
Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family of a distant cousin.
As a member of the PYC, please accept our sincerest condolences on the death of your husband. Sylvia Schmidt & Robert Warrens
