Ben Wilson "BW" Boutwell's Obituary
Ben W. “BW” Boutwell passed away on Sunday, July, 15, 2018 at the age of 79.
Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Roberta Ann “Cookie” Boutwell. Loving father of Tammy McIntyre (Dale) and Christine Hickman. Son of the late Girtrude Day “Trudy” Boutwell and Homer Boutwell, Sr. Brother of Michael Boutwell, Clara Boutwell Davis. Grandfather of Lauren McIntyre, Brad McIntyre, Emily McIntyre, Shelby Hickman, Jr., Katie Hickman and Jessie Hickman. Great-grandfather of Gracie Anne and Carson Reid. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Mr. Boutwell was a member of Varnado Masonic Lodge 461 and was active at other Lodges.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at New Zion Baptist Church, 17387 New Zion Baptist Church Road, Covington, LA 70435 on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on Thursday beginning at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Boutwell to be made to New Zion Baptist Church Building Fund.
